Dinner.

Blogarita got me thinking about sausage biscuits. I decided to try my hand at cooking a real meal, instead of my lovely biscuits with banana and milk. Here is what transpired after following the recipe *exactly*

Although it doesn't look particularly pleasant, it mostly tasted okay. The blue goop was better than the violet goop, and the pinkish goop tasted of strawberry. The green biscuit tasted of apple sauce.
I'll let you know if I survive this digestion suggestion.

Lovely Biscuits.

These are my favourite/favorite biscuits. I eat about 500 per month with two bananas and a pint of milk. The bananas don't eat any. I won't let them. They are lovely biscuits.

Tell it like it is Jimmy.

Jimmy Durante could tear your heart out when he performs one of his serious and moving arrangements. Here he offers an interesting medley of "Yesterday" (Lennon & McCartney) and "Yesterdays" (Harbach & Kern). Stay tuned until the end when you'll hear The Great Durante's signature signoff.

Ray-No-Sense.

GLASGOW (Pantalunatic News) -- A paint by numbers portrait shows an NY State resident from the Small family. Painted by ray-no-sense artist Sans Pantaloons, it will be offered at public auction this summer, Christy's of York said Monday.
Christy's expects the portrait to fetch a record $19 million to $29 million. The record price for a Sans Pantaloons at public auction is $15 million for his Lemon Blue, a Warhol rip-off sold earlier this year.
The portrait up for sale is of Mr. Dick Small, Duke of Earl and ruler of Bear from 1967 to present day. He is also known as Q-Bert and 'The Hammer', and occasionally as 'Hey You'.

The portrait shows Mr. Small turning slightly left against a rich forest green background. The Duke is dressed in an ornate gold-embroidered costume with red puffy sleeves and gray fake fur lining around the neck. In his right hand, Mr. Small holds what is probably an iPod.
The canvas measures 38 inches by 31 inches and dates to 1975.

The renowned Small family ruled NY State from the 14th to 17th centuries and family members became patrons of many of the greatest Italian Restaurants, such as Ihop, Olive Garden and Chuck E. Cheese.
Christy's is set to auction the Small portrait in London, England this July.

Runway Edge.

The costume I adopt may just give me the edge I seek. I have some options below for your persual, should you wish to offer me the benefit of your wisdom.

This is the super-hero costume designed for me by the wonderful Jen of Casual Slack. Do you think this will scare the Bart Brothers sufficiently to give me those vital seconds?

Sorry about that, I had too much Vegetable Pakora last night. Do you think the dark sinister look will do the job? Maybe I should open the valve in their direction.

Finally the red dress tactic. I burst into that wonderful song from Chris De Burgh and render them helpless with nausea. That could be the one.

The end is nigh.

I'm working on giving myself an edge. I'm not hopeful though.

Random Find 3.

If you seek a great hotel, where the guests are good solid citizens, then look no further than here:

It seems that Nobody TM was very busy in Las Vegas. I'll enquire if I can book a suite. I believe I meet the criteria.

Meanwhile back at the Ranch...

After my daring escape from the Great Glen Jail, which I will cover in later posts 'cos I'm making this up as I go along, I sought refuge in the cave made famous by William Wallace.
Hiding there in the darkness, I was sure I was not alone. I contemplated my future, my past and my present.I knew that the cousins of Black Bart would be coming for me. Yellow Bart, Red Bart & Green Bart were known throughout the land for their colourful deeds.

They were coming to clash with me.

Things were looking bad until I noticed that William Wallace had left his laptop behind, so I could tune into my favourite blogs while I wait. And over in the corner, a bottle of Ardbeg. What a guy!

Intox.

Following on from Scarlet's great suggestion about selling the movie rights to 'The Legend of Cowboy Sans', I got on the blower immediately to my agent Bobbie Morgenstern. She worked her magic and Jim Carrey flew in for talks about playing me. How cool is that!

Here are Jim and I enjoying a cup of coffee.
Now, does anyone have a spare Twenty Five million dollars they can loan me?
